- No, and we would not claim otherwise. A trained human transcriber beats any current model on verbatim accuracy. The trade-off is cost and turnaround — Rev's human tier runs roughly ₹1000+ per hour and takes hours; Vaklipi returns a draft in a fraction of the audio duration for a fraction of the price.
- Does Rev support Indian languages?
- Their AI tier covers a broad language list but is Whisper-based, which performs poorly on Indic audio. Human transcription is not offered for most Indian languages.
- When should I still use Rev?
- Court-grade or broadcast-grade English work where verbatim accuracy has to be certified. That is a genuinely different product from what we do.
