- Is the free tier really free?
- Yes. 30 minutes every month, no card, no trial countdown. It is free during beta and founding members keep permanent bonus minutes after Pro launches.
- What will Pro cost?
- Indicative pricing is ₹99 for 120 minutes, ₹399 for 600 minutes, and ₹999 for 1800 minutes. These are packs rather than a per-seat subscription, so occasional users are not paying monthly for idle capacity. Final pricing is confirmed at launch and waitlist members get 50% off launch week.
- Why packs instead of a monthly subscription?
- Transcription demand is lumpy — a journalist has a heavy week then nothing for a month. Per-seat monthly pricing punishes that pattern, which is a large part of why international tools feel expensive here.
- How do I pay?
- UPI and cards via Razorpay when Pro launches. Pricing is in rupees, so there is no currency conversion or foreign-transaction fee.
- What is the file length limit?
- 5 minutes per file on the free beta tier. Pro lifts this to 3 hours. If you need a higher limit before Pro ships, get in touch.
- What happens to my minutes if I do not use them?
- Free-tier minutes reset monthly. Pro packs are prepaid blocks rather than a monthly allowance, so they are not lost at the end of a month.
