Is it really free?

Which languages?
English + Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia. Plus 90+ more world languages (French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, etc.) — pick from the dropdown.
How accurate on music, chants, satsangs?
Sung/chanted content transcribes poorly on every engine — we surface a 'music detected' flag when it happens. Speech-only recordings are strong.
Does it handle Hinglish / code-mixed audio?
Yes — our Indic engine is trained on code-mixed data. Auto-detect works, but for cleanest output pick the dominant language in the dropdown.
How long can my recording be?
5 minutes per file during free beta. Pro tier will allow 3-hour files. Contact us if you need higher limits now.
What happens to my audio?
Stored privately, auto-deleted after 30 days. Never used to train models. Delete your account = full purge in 24h.
Why is Vaklipi more accurate than other tools?
Most global tools use one English-first model for every language. That gives 25-40% error rates on Kannada, Tamil, Telugu. We route each language to the engine that performs best for it — our Indic pipeline measures 6–16% WER depending on the language. See the accuracy page for the method and the per-language table.
