How it works

Record the meeting
Vaklipi transcribes recordings you upload — it does not send a bot into the call. Use Zoom or Meet's own cloud/local recording, or just put a phone on the table for an in-person meeting.

Upload and enable diarization
Speaker labels are opt-in per job. Turn them on for anything with more than two people, where 'who said what' is the whole point of the minutes.

Review and correct names
Diarization gives you Speaker 1 / Speaker 2. Relabel them once in the editor and the names apply across the transcript.

Export minutes
PDF for circulation, DOCX if someone needs to edit further. Share links let teammates read without creating an account.

Does Vaklipi join my Zoom or Meet call automatically?: No. Vaklipi works on recordings you upload rather than joining calls as a bot. If you want an automatic meeting bot, a tool like Fireflies does that — we compare the two directly on the Fireflies page.
Does it work for meetings in Hindi or Kannada?: Yes, and that is the main reason to use it over an English-first meeting tool. All 11 supported Indian languages get the same diarization and export options as English.
Where is meeting audio stored?: In India, auto-deleted after 30 days, with the deletion window configurable. This is the usual blocker for boards and regulated teams.
